I guess it feeds grasses and kills off non-grasses, so would be useful anywhere you wanted grass?
If It's the type that only feeds the grass and does not kill off any weeds on your lawn then It would help to give other plants feed even though not made especialy for them, Just like Tomato feed can be used on many other plants to feed them. It depends how fussy a gardener you are or how much money you want to spend buying every different food type for different plants you have.
I recommend their flower feed - wonderful stuff
Miracle-Gro is composed of Nitrogen (28%) Phosporus (8%) and Potassium (16%) so the markings on the bag wood look like 28-8-16.... This is fairly high on the Nitorgen side, which is desirable for lawns but not necessarily for other plants... especially root crops like carrots, onions and beets... chances are you'd only get good top growth and perhaps not much in the way of root.
I had a really tough time growing good radishes... who'da thunk it... gotta be the simplest thing in the world to grow, right? Well I found that the soil I put in the raised beds had been fertilized the previous year with a long lasting high nitrogen... problem undestood, problem solved...
good for any plants where its the green top growth is what you want but only searly in the eason or the growth produced would be too sappy to cope with frost think of ornamental grasses especially ....and things like coleus
