door moulding or body moulding
Door trim?
By definition motor manufacturers like to use 'Trim' as a decription of all plastic and metal finishing parts and carpets, headlinings, etc.
So it's a broad description of a door waistline moulding or buffer.
most parts suppliers refer to the inner door trim pad(or door card as it was called in the old days) as the door trim...
Any rubber/plastic/chrome strips on the outside = door moulding...ie waist moulding, poser moulding etc..
I always called these "rubbing strips".
