Checking in on facebook?

Probably really simple, but how do i 'check in' with places on facebook?

sorry!...no idea what you mean!....you enter your e mail addy and password, and then ge to your homepage!........simple!........

You can only check in using a mobile facebook app, and then goto places and click on the check in button.
