Long story short: PC with 2 monitors, GF wants to watch tv on one, i want to play games on the other. I have a splitter which allows both my headset and the speakers to be plugged into the same audio jack in the motherboard, but was wondering if thers any tool/config to allow my headphones the game sound, and the speakers the tv sound? i thought about setting her tv to focus left and my game audio right, but i cant see how it would work... any insight would be appreciated :) thankyou for looking.

Most modern soundcards have the facility to send separate signals to front and rear audio sockets (for example, using VIA HD Audio Deck, selecting Jack/Configuration). I'd have thought your main problem would be getting any kind of usable gaming performance from the video card.
