Hello. I have a Saab 93 which is due it's MOT and annual service shortly.
I have owned it since Feb and whilst it's a 56 reg it has only done 24.000 miles.

Do I take it to a competant mechanic, whom I have used for years, or do I make an appointment with a Saab dealer 30 miles away and risk thier , probably, inflated prices??????????????

Any Saab owner out there who has any experience of dealership services????

How was it for you??

I am in the Preston/Lancaster area.

Many thanks Chris

Independents are usually cheaper than dealerships, but don't necessarily have specific knowledge/equipment for "your" car. Good independents are usually well known within a community, so ask around.
There is nothing special about these engines. So just find a good local guy.
Theres an independent Saab specialist near me in Chorley called Motoron they have a website if you want to Google it
