Makes perfect sense Sal - I remember the birth of my first blood relative grandchild ( I too have a step grandchild) - such an exciting time adrenaline rushing through the body - just like it was when my first son was born. Josh was born 7 weeks premature and had to go to special care baby unit - but what a rush when he was born and the permasmile on my face for at least a week!!!

good morning all, I too have been up since 3.30am couldnt sleep- was it full moon or something last night as I dont seem to be the only one ? I put the tv on and caught up with all the programmes I recorded last week 2 episodes of the Kennedys didnt realise he had so many things wrong healthwise and then Scott & Bailey and I drifted off in each one !
Its nice and sunny here so I shall do some gardening.Have a good day all

I shall just blub the first time I see the baby... therefore embarrassing my son who will be trying to be all macho and fatherlike. But then, the poor boy's used to his mum embarrassing him ;-)

I shall be so proud. I will, of course, let you all know when the event occurs. Due date is the 15th but she has pre-eclampsia, so could well be early .

Sal - You will make a brilliant grandma, one of the most balanced/unbalanced women I know! What I mean is you have a great outlook on life with a wicked sense of humour but a loving, caring nature.
