I have 2 tomato plants that I have kept in my conservatory all the time, mainly because they get blown over very easily outside. They have many flowers, but little fruit. Do they have to be outside for pollination?

Thanks, I will try that!
Patience.
The tomato's will grow from the flower heads when the flower petals die and drop off.obviously yourplant is not quite at the stage of growing them yet but will do after the flowers have ended. give it time!
The tomatoes will only grow if the flowers are pollinated - so either you need to let bees and insects into your conservatory, or pollinate them yourself with a fine paintbrush.
Give them a fine mist spray in the evening and tap the main stems a couple of times and the pollen will drop onto the stamens.
Alot of seeds you buy now a days are already self pollinated ones. Not all plants that used to need pollination need to these days if your buying them in packets from shops
I shake all the plants everyday to spread the pollen and mist the foliage in between times it helps the pollen to stick to the stigma.
