Evening All - I read once that if you tie bags of ice on the front of your electric fan, the breeze blows through the ice and gives off a cool breeze...............yep I tried it and all it left was a sogging mess on the floor, very quickly...... (:i(

Anyone tried those wall mounted air conditioning units?

Open a "through" door too. In our house, back door open and front windows open creates a lovely breeze. Make sure you put a book or something in front of any inside doors, though. They can bang with an almighty force!

Yes its cooler here but I would like to be prepared for next time
