My brother has received a really expensive phone bill from BT, apparently him and his wife have been receiving them since March but have never thought to check their itemised phone bill!!!!!! Anyway, this quarter they have gone through it and discovered that a high premium number (09017675092) is showing as been called at different times during the day, times when there was nobody in the house so they are sure it isn't the kids.. They have called BT who have barred the line calling any premium numbers & they have said that they are investigating. Does anybody know anything about this, I vaguely remember something on Watchdog but it was with TalkTalk. Is there anything they can do?

The Amstrad emailer has great functionality as a telephone with ~ 400 numbers in its store. Is there any way to prevent the automatic dialing of this premium number ?
The Amstrad emailer is highly functional as a telephone with a 400 number storage with addresses & cross references, so it's not going in the bin.
I don't use the email or games facilities - is there any way to prevent the weekly dialling of this premium number ?
