Have noticed in the last three days that a couple of emails I've tried to open (from a trusted source) have shown the message <<please wait, downloading message>>>> (or something very similar to that) but no matter how long I wait, nothing happens - it's as though it hasn't kick started if that makes any sense.

Either somebody has sent you some very large emails and they are taking ages to download, or they have simply got stuck.

Log on to your email providers webmail (if they have one) and delete them from there if necessary. if your provider doesn't have a web based system for viewing the mail then a program like mail washer will let you delete the mails from the server without having to download them.

chuck there has been three - first from a trusted souce which did contain pictures or something similar and two I sent to myself with the word Test as the message -have also received about ten twelve others that have been fine. Maybe I should just not worry as (if you remember!) I'm thick with computers and you'd lost me when you said <<<log onto your email providers webmail>>>> sorry
