Does anyone know how i can find out about an old school friend we heard died about a month ago. There are no family members to contact. we wanted to find outif this was true as he was only 34yrs old

you could try the local registry office in the town where he lived.

You could also try the online version of your local newspaper. If there was an announcement in the classified sectionand messages from love dones, they'd still be accessible online.

Googling the name definitely works if your friend's death announcement was in a newspaper that is also online. Someone googled my husband's name for a completely different reason and found out that he had sadly died.
