I have no concerns. I have four cats. If one doesn't trip them over in the hall, one will get them on the stairs. If that doesn't work, ASBO will launch at them from the top of the kitchen units or the living room door and if that doesn't scare the living Sugar out of them (as it has me frequently and I am used to it) best of luck to them.

me neither, having been burgled once i can say its a horrible experience.
The plods just said its christmas, and thats what they do, a whole row of houses, fluffin hell, no gifts gone, but all the big stuff.

I was burgled once and twice have disturbed burglars (one I caught coming in my window). It wasn't pleasant, but it's not the worst thing in the world.

My parents were burgled (the outbuildings - not the house). Whilst my brother was on the phone giving the police a running commentary, my father was flying round the house finding the keys to the gun cabinet, then finding the keys to the ammo cabinet, putting the gun together, loading it (intending to fire some warning shots into the air and nothing more). By the time he had got the bloody gun loaded the burglars were off down the road in his landrover with half of his power tools. The police rocked up 20 minutes later.
