Hi a group of friends are planning a stag party for April. Malaga seems to be a good idea as plenty flights going there several times a day. They are a fun group, nothing too 'mental' but would be just looking for a bit of sunshine if possible and of course some fun night life. Know this is a bit out of season but does anyone have any opinions they can offer?

Why has going abroad for a stag or hen do seem to becone the norm? What's happened to just going out locally or even perhaps a town or city not too far away so that a bus can be hired to take friends there and back? I think it can be unfair on people who really cant afford a trip abroad but feel obliged to go because they are good friends and feel they will miss out or let them down by not going.

not really sure but is a fun thing to do! Have been on hen trips, birthday trips or just girly trips and in my experience you kinda know who is up for it and don't put pressure on those that may not be. Of course leads to more expense as do normally have nights out locally too - suppose just can't always please everyone! Obviously my question was for a friend but travel is what I like to do along with many (but not all of my friends) so they for example when it came to my 40th, people kind of expected that I would plan a weekend away. I really felt I had no reason to be 'celebrating' being 40 but then decided what the h$ll!!
I didn't really like Benamaldena, it was very tacky and un-Spanish. But it was sunny and there were a few good bars so I imagine it's perfect for a stag do.
