The leprachaun curse...

Got an e-mail from someone in Africa claiming to be terminally ill and asking my help in disposing of their money.
I replied stating I was a Druid Priest and I knew their message was false. I was going to call down the powerful Irish Curse of the Leprachauns on them and within a month they would develop the disease they are pretending they have.
Was this an evil thing to do?

do it more cutely: tell them you've called down a druid blessing on them which will grant them many more years of life - but if they have perjured themselves in emails by any chance it will do the opposite.

No problem. I helped organize that site. I know I shouldn't really be taking the name of the priesthood in vain but if it helps scare a scammer for even a minute it will have been worth while.

Boxtops was right. I had a look in the e-mail I used to answer the chancer in Africa. Apparently there are people all over the world, Africa, China, the Middle East, and even South America, who had fortunes of money they want to give away.
