What size storage does it say it has?
You need to tell us which player and how much memory it has and preferably what bitrate your songs are ripped at, all of this will have a bearing on how much can be stored. That being said, 2.75 hours seems very little for any modern machine.
Exactly... ^

How are we meant to know how much it can hold if you don't say how much memory it has.

also what bit rate do are the MP3s in.... 320Kb/s MP3s will take alomst twice as much room as 128Kb/s Mp3s

sorry folks for not giving you enough info, i´ll have a look at the book that came with it later, as theres nothing else to tell you from looking at it, apart from its called a LEOTEC, and it has 4GBFM written on the back.
Do you mean 2 3/4 hours of music videos, or just music?
If just music, then it sounds like you are ripping to an uncompressed format (such as .wav) instead of mp3.

at 256Kbps you should get around 32 hours on your 4 GB player.

just music rojash
2¾ hours seems low even for uncompressed...

uncompressed takes approx 9MB per minute so 165minutes (2¾ hours) should only be about 1.5GB.

Reformat it and then make sure you do have 4GB free (it will show as 3.somethingGB) and then try again.
Agree with all the above. How are you putting music onto it?

Are you using iTunes or just copying files from your PC?
