I have some pimples on my butt and they don't seem to be going away.

Strange question, do you sit down in your job?

i used to have a job sitting down most of the day and had the same problem, so i used clearasil or neutrogena skin clear body wash on my bum and they cleared up by quite a lot! you have to use it everytime you bathe though or it wont make a difference.

Also, are you wearing synthetic underwear/trousers?  I think they make you sweat more which leads to spots and stuff.  Switching to cotton might make a difference.

Its actually a medical condition that is treated with antibiotics, so go see your gp.

I get the feeling that if I pitched up at my GP and said I had a few zits on my backside she would laugh me out the surgery!

If you don't feel comfortable talking to your GP about small problems, then it's time to get a new GP. Your doctor needs to be aware of your entire medical condition, as small seemingly harmless events may be early indicators of bigger problems.
