and WW3 was imminent, where would your allegiance lie. If it's with Britain, would you fight, and how would that square with the many people who now live in the UK from other nations.

my loyalty to Scotland is unconditional, if a Scottish government asked me to fight, then i would
Hello em10,

This would not become a war where the Islam would triumph simply because when the chips are down it would be the non-islamic nations that have the arms power - at least in the foreseeable future. I agree, I would not like to kow-tow to Islam any more than I want to kow-tow to the authorities that govern us now. As far as the Germans are concerned … many of them did not survive the aftermath of the war and probably thought the same as we did … they'd be turned into brolly wielding Britons.

But as I suggested, wars happen but when things calm down the victorious side has to
come to terms with the problem of running the economy of the beaten nation(s) and that requires a practical bent. The allies did a good job with West Germany and most of us nowadays accept the Germans as a decent hard working race. Such a shame we all had to go through WW11 to establish that.
I wouldn`t fight for my country, the Great went from Britain when Tony Blair became prime minister

Elvis, Mike1111 is right you wouldn't have any choice, and just because that liar Blair got us into a mess with his brown nosing to George W, i still think it would be one's duty to fight. Winston would have had something to say im sure if people had the same attitude then, as some seem to have now.
If ww3 took place then it would't be long before the losing side used atomic weapons. When that happens it won't matter where your allegiance lies.

thats what i said before, and no one seemed to agree, My REME mate said that years ago, it was food for thought. I also talked with a journalist associate many years ago, and one of the things he said was that any future conflicts would be between the West and Islam, He was quite a well known and respected author, journalist, who had been based in the Middle East for any number of years.
