As In MRI.. I saw a programme last year about a new type of scanner where the patient lies on a wide long steel? table and above them a scanner the same size as the table/bed comes down. This was going to be the alternative to the tunnel like scanner. My family dont believe me and I must prove Im right! Any help please? thanks:--)) Oh it was the first one in Bristol.

I had an isotope bone scan like you describe. I lay on a table and a flat "table" above me came down very close to me. It then moved (or I moved?) very very slowly, long-ways, whilst printing an image of my outline on a computer screen. The result was that any inflammation in the body showed up on another screen- a black skeleton with white bits for inflammation.
