Disturbing album cover

I'm desperately trying to find the artist and title of an album cover I remember from years ago. The sleeve basically showed a doll (perhaps a rag doll?) that had been charred and/or twisted in some way. It was quite a disturbing image. I think the album came out in the 70s and the music was kind of dark pagan folk (a la Comus etc) though I could be mistaken. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks for your suggestion, Calibax, though that's not it. It was definitely photographed rather than 'a cartoon'.
