Posted a thread earlier about a bably Blackbird on Animals and Nature, to cut a long story short, a cat had raided the nest, and I had saved one chick, but it hopped out of the nest and I couldn't find it earlier, I have now found it, put it back in the nest again, but there is no sign of the parents returning, it's getting cold out there now!.......should I leave it there or bring it indoors and try to feed it?..........any help would be greatly appreciated!........

Thanks Mrs C and stoke, fair upset me tonight!..............they were doing so well!...........was going to have a chilled out evening!......was mad!..........the neighbours must have been thinking 'what is that woman doing? running up and down the garden with a water spray in her PJs'.........I don't care, just hope the little chick survives!........they know I'm a bit crazy anyway, so no problem!......

Quick update!.seems that the chicks are alive and well!...........They're in the bottom of the bush, and the parents are hopping in and out and feeding them, seems that they spend 1 -3 days on the ground, with parents support, before they fly!.......hopefully that will happen tomorrow!.........as long as I can keep the cats away!...........
great news welsh I am sure the parents will look after them now. good on you for worring

thanks mic, I too like cats, would never hurt one, but the water spray works well, doesn't cause any harm, but just lets them know that they should leave!........little chicks are doing well I think, and hopefully will fledge tomorrow or Wednesday!........be a big relief when they do!...........lol.........
