IMO,It is a rich mans toy, designed for the cycle paths of holland i think, because i beleive a lot of dutch still cycle.
The Netherlands is almost entirely flat which is conducive to cycling.........whilst the urban areas do have lots of cars, the entire infrastructure of road provision is geared up for the cyclist and the rural areas are very much the domain of the bicycle.

It is so very different in GB that the whike is a non-starter except for places like Center Parcs...
they would have to obey the speed limit in venice.

how do they work on windless days?

does anyone know how good they are at going up hills?
it might help make cyclists more visible; but perhaps they'd need their own lanes (or wind tunnels)
