Horizon to horizon, well, from treetop to treetop, the horizon doesn't stretch too far here!

Lucky you, I never tire of seeing it, there is something magical about it.
Here are the details for tonight's viewing opportunity in the London area:
Time 02:32 AM
Duration: 6 Minutes
Max elevation: 88 degrees
Approach: 10 degrees above W
Departure: 10 degrees above E
I think there's another opportunity later and there are definitely many more over the next few days :-)

I usually watch it with my son, as I did tonight, and am always amazed that there are people up there! My son tells me that they are studying the effects of space on spiders soon, we have been imagining all these weightless arachnids!
Whats an ISS?

Have a look at the above. It is approx the size of a large football field. It is approx 230 miles high travels at 17,000 mph orbits the earth every 90 mins with the astronauts seeing a sunrise and sunset every 45 mins and 240 foot solar wings. It glides across the sky very bright and it does NOT blink..
