Thanks for all those fabulous responses; Answer Prancer, you are a scream! The ride went well, and they managed to be fairly discreet. The only disappointment were the lead and rear police cyclists who didn`t take any of their kit off. I had been hoping to see them just in their helmets. ~Only one participant had his backside in the air and I managed to step back on the pavement just in time.
