problem viewing a video online

Can anyone help please. I am trying to do some online learning which involves watching presentations. After about 30 seconds a box appears saying web message , it has to close the programme and then the screen goes blank.
Does anybody know what i should do ?

Well , you haven't given many clues. At a guess, make sure that you have the very latest version of Adobe Flash installed.

Could be one of several formats .. Quicktime, wmv, flash, .flv.
Various fixes.
