I have Cable in one bedroom, Sky with 3D in the living room, and a TV in another bedroom that runs off a loft indoor Ariel, and I am wondering if it would be cheaper to have all three on SKY+ and cancel cable which I have had for about five years, and have the telephone line with also. The pro`s and cons bother me. What do you think. I`m off to bed now with a headache.....TIA...g`night will read reply`s tomorrow.

From experience, Sky for TV, broadband and phone.
Sky+ you can't beat it.
if youre only watching 1 tv at a time then get a sender box and keep just the one lot of sky.

redcrx, I will certainly give that some thought. thanks.
My folks just changed from cable to sky - they really like the tv but my dad says the broadband is terrible, much slower than Virgin.
We have sky+ but we keep getting calls from sky asking us to pay insurance. Mrask pays quite a lot per month for sky sports channels etc, and he is adamant that if the sky box goes he will go cable or some other provider. Fingers crossed it will last sky+ is great for recording programmes.
askyourgran, youll probably find that it isnt Sky themselves who are calling you. If mine broke I would say i was cancelling contract unless i got a new box ;)
