One of my mpg videos does not play correctly, it skips after about 10 seconds through to another part and then a few seconds later skips all the way to the end. I get the error code "{212DC732-3235-44A4-BD29-E1652BBCC71C}" (this is the WaveFormat or FourCC identifier of the codec). Can anyone help me with this problem in any way?

Hi,  Well it depends on where the file resides.  If its actually on the hard drive then it is corrupted and you will just have to get another copy,  if its on a CD or DVD then its more likely that the disk is dirty or scratched or surface damaged in some way. clean or polish the surface may help.
