Cambelt, how do i find out which one to buy?.

Just bought a Seat Alhambra S 1.9tdi. Reg V which has had a VW recon fitted.
How do i find out what cambelt kit to buy? (has black plastic cover fitted on top)
Dont want to go to garage..

You give the reg or VIN to GSF parts and ask them.
You would not want a kit for a Reco engine tho, would you?!

Albags, that really depends on when it was reconditioned really.

But the replacement engine should be the same type .. right?
Cambelt kits are to type rather than year, also.
GSF will advise which kit for which year .. take it from there.
Sometimes they need engine number .. you could take that from the engine block.
Engine ID on side of block .. Is it like pic here?

Told because of plastic cover on top that it was a SD? will have to get under it to find numbers. AGR/ALH,AFN etc
