Finding out about new store openings

Hi, i live very near westwood x shopping centre and they are opening new stores frequently, but is there a way of finding out what stores are coming so i can put my name down for a job, as we have got a new poundland opening and all the jobs are already taken and our local job centre plus dont let you know. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

have you looked on their website? They mention a Management Suite so the people there might know who's expected to be moving in soon.

I found oAll you can do is keep an eye out in the local paper and if anything is put on the empty units eg if a sign is put up saying "coming soon a so and so shop"

Jobs will appear at your local Job Centre and it's up to you to visit it regularly in order to be put your name down as soon as thay appear.
They most certainly will not contact you directly as they expect you to check for Jobs yourself

i found out what new stores were opening close by local paper and the internet,

Im always looking in the local paper but it never says, i only ever find out once either the shop is open or a sign goes up just before its going to open to say what the same will be.

The shops that opened up near me for example go outdoors was in the local paper, the new maplin store that opened here other week i must have seen that on the maplins website, the new bestbuy store that opened up in bristol i found out by chance as i saw in teh grocer they were opening up stores in england and bristol was 1 of them

As well as all the above you need to read the local paper(s) with a Business section as well as just Jobs. It is more likely to have advance notice of new shops etc.

Check Job Centre Plus online - all jobs are posted there and it saves you going in every few days.
