i need diet meal suggestions...

what is good meals to have. im pretty fat & starting a diet. I find it very difficult as i always eat the same: chicken & veg...its so boring. what healthy foods can i eat?

My neighbour used a company i think called diet chef , for ready made and preportioned meals for a diet.
Cut out processed foods and starchy carbs like white rice, bread and pasta. Try to eat as naturally as possible-good quality meat,poultry and fish...not fish fingers or breaded chicken,etc. Have lots of green leafy vegetables,and lower carb veg. No cakes,biscuits or junk....this will all help you to lose. Don't starve yourself-it doesn't work.
I've done this and lost 21lbs in 3 months.
I have jacket potatoes (no butter) with lots of salad. Stir fries and I still eat pasta. I have lost 17lbs so far.
Are you following any particular eating plan or doing it by yourself?
I find doing it by myself pulling low fat, low calorie recipes form either mags or the net a great way of finding tasty food with little to no thought on my part.

You could try either Slimming World or WW on line
Or The Biggest Loser (all require a subscription)
Just stop eating carbs! As pastafreak advised.

Enjoy your protein and greens. Keep off fruit (other than berries) beans and root vegetables such as carrots, turnip etc as they are full of sugar.

It is sugar/carbs that trigger the insulin which converts food into fat. Cut them out and your body will use the triglycerides (fat) you have stored.

Important! What blood type are you?
If you are 'B' you should not be eating chicken - it can thicken the blood and increase your risk of strokes etc

Don't exclude carbohydrates - try a low GI diet - using carbs that are less processed. The diets relating to your blood type are rubbish according to my doctor.
teddy - Diet chef is pretty expensive and what happens if you don't like what they have given you.

Sadly wolf, most GPs don't know what they are talking about in this matter because they have never examined the research findings.

My high protein (minimum chicken - I'm a 'B' blood type) zero carbs diet has reduced my cholesterol from 4.6 to 3.4 in 10 weeks. As well as shedding 34 lbs. And lowering my BP.

My GP said she was amazed and could hardly believe the blood test results. And her PC programme that monitors my health wouldn't accept the figures without being told what new drug treatment had caused this amazing transformation.

Most relevant, I doubt if my data will actually feed into any shared body of medical knowledge, there is no process to do that. It will just be one of many instances of patient experience that are ignored because they don't fit the conventions.

By the way, I eat butter, cheese, cream and approximately 10 eggs a week.
