Im going to Paris on a short break on the eurostar. I wondered if anybody could advise me on getting about in paris - il only be there for two days and a night and wondered if there was anything essential i shouldnt miss out on when i went?! Also, im looking to find a cheap hotel or hostel but ideally near to the eurostar train station but i have no idea which area this is in, so i don't really know where to start looking!! ive found this lovely little place in montremarte near to the moulin rouge which id love to see, but is montremarte anywhere near the eurostar station??!! the trip is very much on a budget so i want to avoid taxi fares! is the station in central paris?? if i was to stay in a hotel near the station, would i then be in a really dull area of paris and not near to anything and would it therefore be better to get a hotel somewhere else?? i really have no knowledge of paris but have always wanted to go there, im taking my boyfriend, we're both early 20s and would like to be in the city centre as much as possible. and i want to go to the moulin rouge!!! any suggestions, advice etc would be very much appreciated!!!

kitty - your question was so long that people have had trouble replying (a technical problem at our end - not your fault!). An answer has been posted here: question 30039
You can have some good private concierges to arrange your trip. I think you should check this site: www.myguideinparis.com

They provide all kind of helps that you are looking for. They can assist you to find out good destinations, reservations, current events etc. I am sure; they can make your trip memorable and tremendous.
