My girlfriend is due in July and I'll have two weeks off. Is it possible to split those two weeks up into two different weeks and have a week off at a later date?

I'm sure you can, eh?

Sorry no, the two weeks must be taken together

How later a date?

I thought that Paternity leave was introduced so that you could all "bond"(whatever that means) with the neonate.
you need to take it within 8 weeks of the birth - our policy is the two weeks should be taken at the same time but can be split on request but its a local center decision and based on circumstances
