Wheaten - I also use little pricks, but my Dentist said be careful as they can piece the gums and cause infection.
Hi boxy :) How ya doin'?
of course boxy, pam ayres. the one i'm thinking of is definately 'oh i wish i'd looked after my teeth'. she's the only poet i enjoy reading, just don't get poetry at all.
Eth, I heard Pam Ayres reciting that 'teeth' one when she was on Countdown, a few months back.
Yep, and yep the same with the vile smell! Can't stand the taste of disclosing tablets though! Also; not one of the mouthwash brigade' dental hygienist said it doesn't really do much compared to flossing and read scary stuff about using mouthwash with alcohol in!
sonic toothbrush, and floss.. it's the way to go!
I always floss daily, only once mind, or unless some foody bits like strawberry seeds get stuck in my teeth....i love the feeling after...feels that bit more fresher and cleaner, it hurt like hell when you first start flossing until your teeth get used to it, then its fine, it is shocking the stuff you can get out from between your teeth though and it can stink dependent on what you have eaten or if you are a first time flosser...food particles just rot if not removed.
Oh and after eating something i usually take a mouthfull of cold water and swish it all round my mouth and force it through my teeth just to make sure no bits are lurking...lol
No........electric toothbrush and mouthwash for me. My dentist was surprised to discover I smoke so it can't be bad.
I can't floss. I have loads of crowns and there are no gaps between my teeth. I tried interdental brushes but they loosen the crowns if I'm not careful. Therefore I rinse every day with a mouthwash.
I floss every night but I use those little bottle brushes, they're not so fiddly. My hygienist told me that flossing stops the build up of tartar on the sides of your teeth and is not just to get rid of pieces of food.
As you get older gaps get bigger.
same as sexy jag to some extent crowns at the front...do floss at the back though
I floss regularly. Every time I go to my dentist he always asks if I floss and I say yes. He says 'good'.
I recommend chewing a small piece of sugar free gum after every meal.
yea you should to get the food particles that are stuck in between teeth that the brush does not remove. at first it smells but after a few days it goes away.
