Well my thought processes were running this way:

a. control freaks (you know the people who are this way), some are kind, some are not.
b. control freaks can lead to bullying (is it a fine line?)
c. bullying can lead to evil (now it depends on the definition of evil. My definition of individual's evil is someone who. goes out of their way to cause pain, injury, etc.,. to someone. It is, of course, most of the time more complicated than my quick and simple definition.

Am I on track with this thinking? Any comments?
Thank you

Any kind of uncontrolled need to control another human is inherently evil IMO and is probably bullying. Even if the intention is kind, the methods are not and the result is a weakening of the one controlled.
Controlling people can be very manipulative. They do it gradually so the person being controlled doesn't realise what's happening....

Hopefully they realise before the controller has zapped all their confidence..
I don't think bullies are especially interested in being controlling or manipulative; they just bully because they can. Control freaks are trying to get something done their way; bullies don't usually want anything done, they just want to throw their own weight around.
Control freaks have low self esteem and can only bolster themselves at the cost of a.n.other and fulfill your a to c.
Control freaks use some bullying to get what they want. Bullies usually just want to humiliate or freak you out; need not do any controlling.
