Dubois says that Booker T. Washington distincly asks that blacks give up what three things and why? This is based from the Washington/Dubois controversy.

I would like to share my knowledge on this matter because some individuals on this site seems to think that I am out to get essays complete when they couldn't be more wrong. I would like to thank the individuals who believe in sharing their knowledge with the world. Below is my answer to this question:

He asked that they give up political power, insistence on civil rights and higher education of negro youth.

If you want to test the answerbankers knowledge, go to chatterbank and announce you're setting up a quiz, or write your questions in the quizzes and puzzles section.
turningheaz - you don't quite seem to have grasped the purpose of this site - let me share my knowledge on this matter. The answerbank is a place to ask question because you dont know the answer not because you do know the answer. I hope that is helpful.

turningheaz, as the question to which I gave the following answer (or an approximation thereof) seems to have been deleted, I'll give it another go:

This is a UK based site (the clue is in the URL: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/) and so, no we're not up on American History. Also, as spinchimp points out the idea is to ask questions that you need an answer to, not to conduct some bizarre sociological experiment.

Also, you seem to be worried that African-American History is not getting sufficient attention. Are you not setting African-American's apart from European/Asian/Oriental/any other racial background of American? Is this not both racist and unecessarily divisive?

Spinchimp, I get what this site is all about, but when I posted the questions, you guys assumed that I did not know the answers and started to accuse me of trying to get you to do an assignment for me. Well, everyone that ask questions on this site are not looking for a free paper and that's the point that I'm trying to make. I just feel sorry for the individuals that really do need your help. I hope they don't get treated the same way that I have been treated. Please do not assume! By the way, don't assume that I am black!
As I have said before, if you post questions in a format that looks like it has been taken verbatim from an exam paper, people will draw their own conclusions. If you want to start a discussion on black history in America then try rephrasing your posts!!

Why should I have assumed you are black?! - I wouldn't know and I wouldn't care.

You said you knew the answers to your questions - which in itself raises the question of why you asked them!
