Fridge freezer issues

I have a Servis fridge freezer M7582S and it works fine but my issue with it is that it 'creaks' really loudly on and off throughout the day/night. It's about 3 years old and this 'creaking' noise is that loud I can hear it when I'm trying to sleep. It almost sounds like it's 'contracting' or something?!? sorry but not sure how to describe the noise!

The other issue is that first thing in the morning, the unit smells 'gassy'. I've even had British Gas out as I thought I had a gas leak and there are no leaks but around the fridge it smells quite strong.

Thanks 4 any replies :-)

If your Fridge/Freezer is leaking Refrigerant then the compressor will eventually fail.
Try defrosting it and when you switch it back on see what happens then.
Have you tried moving it slightly incase the vibration is caused by being up against another object.
