Waching Machine Handle Snapped off

I went to open the door to get my washing out and the handle snapped off and I can't get my washing out. The machine is an Indesit W133S.

I've tried gently trying to lever it open with a screwdriver and other assorted things but no joy and I don't want to risk causing any further damage.

Does anyone know how I can get my washing out initially with the minimum damage (and potentially foolproof for me factor) and know whether it is easy to get a replacement handle (as cheap as possible as things are incredibly tight at the moment).

If I can get another one cheap I can hopefully find a friend who is far better at fixing things than I am to fix it on. I'm guessing superglue (not that I have any here now) won't be strong enough.

Thank you for any help, am panicking!

Not that I could find Spudqueen. Will see if I can find a manual though as it would be useful to know for future.

Hopefully I can get a replacement Tony. I've just been looking online and couldn't find anything on Ebay but found one doorkit I think would fit (and a great instruction video) which is pretty cheap but only in white and my machine is silver :( Off to continue the search now as need to get it sorted asap.

A friend has also offered to come help me fix it on too who had more tools so more effective screwdrivers etc...

This site is truly wonderful and a godsend having people so willing to give their time to help :)

Ah ha, found one but a bit non-plussed as to why the silver one is £4 more than the white one! £5.45 against £9.95 :(
