Good instructions on a tin of Holts filler.
(If you get a large tin, you can read it!)

thank you ALBAGS.
You will not remove the rust without letting in repair panels.
It is like an iceberg and most of it cannot be seen. It is coming from where the inner wing and outer wing are joined and the rust has formed inside that joint so if you rub it down and fill it, you will be wasting your time as it will be through again in no time. Sorry!
Phosphoric acid (jenolite) does the job but it isn't very quick even if you remove mechanically what rust you can. No car lasts forever so it doesn't matter if your rust treatment doesn't either.
