If it was Autumn I could play conkers with them. Know of any public stonings within a 60 mile radius of Dorset this weekend Trim :-)
Nothing is...It`s cheaper to buy cakes etc than make your own.
..and home-made hot cross buns NEVER turn out like shop-bought ones!

You're right treetops but home-made stuff often tastes much better. Actually I'm quite peed off about it all, took hours. Followed an old-fashioned recipe that required frothing the yeast first then proving twice. Didn't notice until the end that the yeast was 'easy' and was supposed to be mixed straight in and left to rise just the once.
Result dark brown pebbles.
That's the way the cookie bounces! ;-)
