Hi, Happy Easter !!
Need to buy a new wireless router (Virgin cable broadband) - have seen the TP-Link TD-W8950ND for around the £30 mark, has anybody any idea what this one is Like ? Have read a coupleof reviews which were good but prefer personal views rather than magazine reviews.
Many thanks

Surely you get one free with a Virgin broadband sub? I certainly do...

Hi
Thanks for the answers.
Venator - been with Virgin for a long time, and wireless only for a few years. When I went wireless, Routers were only given to new customers - I tried but without success, so had to buy my own.
MarkRae - you're dead right !! Hadn't noticed that. Will keep looking.
Thanks again

I've used NetGear kit for years - never had a problem with it. I've been using the WNR3500 for several years now, and it's been rock solid.

Remember that. as with all things, you (don't) get what you (don't) pay for, and the el cheapo option may prove a false economy...

Note if you are on 20Mb cable broadband Virgin will upgrade you to 30Mb for free (and you may pay less each month - my payment went down from £25 to £18.50)

And they will send you a new Superhub which is a combined wi fi moderm/router in one box for £30.

See the Virgin web site.
