I've just had a call from one of our employees, very worried because he has just realised that his employee number is 13 and is so supersticious that he requested it be changed immediately. In my mind, that's mental. He's been no.13 for a year!

I'm not supersticious at all. I will purposely put new shoes on the table and walk under ladders. I even encouraged a black cat to come into our office the other day. (although I got rid of him when I realised he might want to mark his teritory all over the office furniture).

I'm not superstitious either. I lived at Number 13 for the first 17 years of my life. T'was mostly a happy home apart from the Primary School Headmaster incident.... For the next 3 years I also lived at another Number 13.

I don't mind walking under ladders - considering how accident prone I am, I probably should be superstitious, but I'm not.
nope
No, touch wood.
No. (looks around surreptitiously before throwing salt over left shoulder, crossing fingers, and touching wood). Nope definitely not.
Wild horses wouldn't get me to walk under a ladder, not since I met a window cleaner in A and E who had fallen off one onto a bloke below. Make sure you get the devil in the eye Starbuck,

I've thrown so much salt over my shoulder seadogg, the devil is afraid to stand there.
The only thing I do is cross the road more carefully on a Friday 13th.
