I do like to be liked, but I accept that not everyone is going to like me, and that's fine, I can live with that, and in most cases, work around it.

I wouldn't ever try and make someone like me - i approach everyone in exactly the same where as far as possible, and see what comes back.

I have always been frankly amazed if any woman finds me attractive (absolutely no false modesty here, it's just the way I am) because of my low self-image, although I know that my conversation and interest in others make me a valuable companion.

i don't give a fig! my dear grandma once told me that life isn't a popularity contest and that as you can't please everyone, you may as well please yourself. i make sure that i don't hurt other people and that i am considerate, but there are some that i will never like - so i don't bother x

Wanting to be liked by everyone is one of my many flaws, however I have found it quite easy to distance myself from people that I think are no good for me and not worry about it, rather than just carry on being overally nice and worrying that I may have said/done the wrong thing etc..

I'm not liked very much these days. My ex best friend who I'd known since we were 16 isn't talking to me, but then again I'd prefer not to talk to her anymore. She just talks down at me rather than to me. Don't know why I put up with it for so long.

Other than that I couldn't care less.
