Rotating a video

I have transferred a number of videos from my iPhone to my laptop but unfortunately they need to be rotated one movement clockwise to be viewed. I have opened them in both Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker but neither give an option for this purpose. Can anyone tell me how I can do this please?

you should be able to do it in movie maker - on the 'home' page in the 'editing' section (middle of page at the top there should be 'rotate left' and 'rotate right' options
