How do i keep my whites White? is this anythink to do with putting cream/Ivory colours in with my white wash?

I am 25 expecting my first child but worried that I will ruin the babies clothes

Hi Bottom.  I always literally wash my whites together and make sure nothing else gets in there.  Once in a while I shove a dylons colour white sachet in the wash (you can get them in those saver chemists, or in robert dyas, or probably supermarkets too...john lewis also sell) - but personally I find that if I stick to just washing whites together they stay nice and white.
I agree with nuoyg, only I put a Glowhite in every now and then.  My whites seem to stay pretty white.
While the baby is little why not wash the delicats by hand. Its not until they get a bit older you need the washing machine. It doesn't take long and I used to enjoy washing them this way. Good Luck with the baby
I agree with all that has been said ... but ... believe me when the baby comes you will not have time to worry about things like that .... just having clothes of any colour to hand will be good enough !!!!!!
