A dear lady I work with has a habit of using words in the wrong context like "where would i get a chap to build me two 'pelvices' for my window. Another colleague always corrects her loudly while sneering at her...this always makes me cringe. Am I right in thinking that it's just bad form to correct other peoples spelling and grammar mistakes?

I'm sorry Noraz - but with your avatar staring me in the face, I cannot concentrate on thinking or answering anything; the sight of Daniel Criag's crutch is so distracting....

Nan also used to ask me to wipe the "constipation" off the windows.

One which I always notice is using the word "draw" instead of "drawer" to descibe the thing you keep your socks in.
An old dear who used to come in the shop I owned, suffered with arthritis in her shoulder, and used one of those vibrating massagers.
She used to ask for batteries: "you know the ones, Les......the ones I put in my vibrator!!"
