Please does anyone know what sort of  food they serve in Israel   Jerusalem,  guest house, B'fast and dinner, and if can buy food from shops ie apples, brown bread,bottled water, things for snacks for lunch. will be on a pilgrimage and visiting sights each day by coach.also could I take travelling kettle and what adapator would I need.  are you allowed to take any food with you ie biscuits,  Thanks

try posing your question on www.goisrael.com they have a 'contact me' option at the bottom of the page, i've asked questions there in the past, and they are very helpful. Have a nice time.

 You will find that you will be able to get all sorts of food in Israel due to the fact that there are many nationalities living there. You should try Falafel and Pitta bread, it is made from chick peas and deep fried.

 I see no reason why you couldn't take biscuits with you.  If you have an adapter plug then it should tell you the right one for Israel. I think its the same as Europe

Thanks for help, I asked as Diabetic and staying in Hotel at one site and guest house Jerusalem and always like to have a little snack with me  sixty eight people on trip so should be good always wanted to go .
Just want to say have a good trip Pega ..don't forget to take a couple of puzzles !!
I see your a Diabetic, and I wonder if you were worrying about the dietry laws, the Jewish faith is very health concious, and gives dispensation for this reason.
