anyone know how to create a screen saver without special software? I have photoshop and flash and want to make our company logo and slogan into a nice animated screensaver, but can't find a suitable tutorial for how to do this, and also when I try ot change the screensver on my machine it does not have the function to 'browse' so how would I set it in my screensaver menu once saved?

Thanks

Screensavers have a .SCR extension and reside in the WINNT or WINDOWS directories. These are basically executable (.EXE) files with their extension changed. Then they appear in the dropdown I believe.

I've only ever created one with Visual Basic before. I'm sure there are other pieces of software which can make it easier (ie, you give it a piccy and it does the rest for you).

What are you trying to animation wise exactly?

cheers - I have found the screenavers folder - I want to make a simple animation of our logo in flash - how do I change the file extension? when I try it just changes the name to logo.scr.swf!

you could make it on powerpoint and convert it into a screensaver. There are many websites that tell u how. Search 'convert Powerpoint to screensaver' in google.
