Can anyone please tell me where I can find the rules and regulations concerning Parish Councls. What I want to know is, do you have to be resident full time in the village where you stand for election?

I'm not too sure on this but I think you have to live there the majority of the time. Have you tried putting into your search bar, 'Parish Councils and theirs rules concerning standing for election' I know that sounds long winded but its amazing what you can find that way.
Hi Bluedog, the main criteria for standing as a "parish councillor" are:
1, reside within the parish/ward
2,own property or land within the parish/ward
3, operate some form of commercial enterprise within the parish/ward.
If you log on to your local district council website, they should have a section on the forth coming election, just down load an application pack it will give you all of the information required
