Favourites Problem

After years of saving favourites in order to call up sites without having to search for them, I am now finding that when selecting any of the saved favourites I have to wait a while before they pop up on the screen. It is the same when I try to open the "Organise Favourites" programme. The rest of my PC runs at it's usual pace......only the mentioned two are a problem.....any help will be much appreciated.......Although I assume the number of shortcuts I save in Favourites is not an issue, I have deleted quite a lot of them in order to see if it made a difference....but it didn't. Thanks in anticipation for your help.....Telboy

You are like myself telboy, I have dozens of em, and the scroll bar is only 1/2 inch long now, but I don`t have any problems.
I assume that you're referring to (the dire) Internet Explorer. If so, try this:
http://windows.micros...net-Explorer-settings

About a zillion times better, switch to Firefox (which is what the majority of people on here use):
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
