I rang Sky Customer Services on Friday as there are is no channels on my TV. The advisor talked me through lots of different buttons to press to reset to try and fix but still not working

He said they'd have to send out an engineer and he gave me Wed or Thurs. I told him I work those days and asked for next week. He said they are fully booked that week, so I have to ring back to arrange another slot, as they can only schedule engineer visits within 2 week slots.

Has anyone had a problems with this and been advised of the above? Also, am I within my rights to ask for a reduction in my bill as I have no Sky channels?

Thanks

to right u are , be warned they tried to over charge me by 30 pounds last month .I soon phone them up , they reduce my paymnet this month for the overpayment they took . Also are they charging you for the call out ? as when i had sky at my last home , my sky broke they was charge of £42 pounds , to be paid via credit card told them never ahd card , i would pay cassh , but this was not possible as engineers must not take payments . So on this i said cancel sky then , but rather than lose customer they gave me a free visit . So bare this in mine anyone with sky fault wanting home visit .
