DOVER TIDE or TIDED OVER

Many thanks to all of those who replied to my earlier question. Guess we'll find out next week but one is for certain...............none of us will win!!!

Why do you say that? Someone has to win and does every week.Be optimistic. The glass is half full not half empty!
am looking forward to seeing the answer I put Dover tide as the other word meant dover was split up but we'll see and must think lucky its just a case of does the crossword ever arrive and then it being picked I have won small prize crosswords so can happen  good luck

fergol - I was going to write that, like a half glass of wine, you need to get to the the bottom before it can be refilled but on your optimistic note, I'll top it up when its half full and never drink the last half - thanks!!!.

Sometimes I have considered sending the crossword in by registered post to stand a greater chance of it getting there.
